Dr. Veronica Schilling
Dr. Veronica Schilling is a 2025 graduate of the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Originally from Westminster, Maryland, she earned her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Creative Writing from UMBC. After four fulfilling years in Raleigh, North Carolina, she returned to Maryland to be closer to her family and friends.
Dr. Schilling has a love for both animals and people (though she admits she loves animals a bit more), and she finds great joy in the ability to care for both through veterinary medicine. She believes that strong communication is key to excellent veterinary care—and it’s one of her greatest passions. Her special interests include soft tissue surgery, emergency medicine, internal medicine, and ophthalmology.
Outside of work, Dr. Schilling lives in Eldersburg with her fiancé Alex and their two dogs, Titus and Tessa. In her free time, she enjoys weightlifting, reading, painting, and spending time outdoors—especially at the beach.
